Your privacy choices

This page covers the opt-out and the financial incentive disclosure required by the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. It applies to everyone, not only Californians - we would rather run one process than two.

1. Do not sell or share my personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics, and no third-party scripts on this site.

Our business does involve licensing datasets built from contributed AI workflow traces. Before anything is licensed we scrub and de-identify it, and the contributor key never travels with a licensed package - our position is that what we license is not personal information, so licensing it is not a "sale." We are publishing this opt-out anyway, because that position depends on our de-identification holding up and you should not have to take our word for it.

To opt out:

Global Privacy Control. We honor GPC signals. In practice there is nothing for the signal to switch off, because we run no advertising or analytics technology on this site.

2. Notice of financial incentive

Paying contributors for their AI workflow traces is a financial incentive program under California Civil Code § 1798.125(b). The material terms:

We think the program is reasonably related to the value your data provides to us. Participation is voluntary, and declining it costs you nothing.

3. Your other rights

You can ask us to:

Email [email protected]. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need another 45. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission.

Verification is proportionate to what we hold. For a waitlist record, the email address is the whole record, so control of that address is the only verification we ask for. For a contributor account we verify through the identity provider you signed in with. We will not ask you for new identifying information in order to answer a request about the little we already hold.

We will not retaliate. Exercising any of these rights has no effect on your participation, your rates, or your standing with us.

4. What we hold, in one place

The full list is in the Privacy Policy, section 2. In short: on the waitlist, your email address, your country, and the date. As a contributor, that plus your identity provider handle, your consent record, your traces, and our payout ledger. Not your identity documents, taxpayer ID, or bank details - those are collected and held by Stripe.
